The SP9000VX is the most brilliantly beautiful and luxurious mattress offered by sleep E-Z airbeds. The cover of the 4-inch thick European Box Pillow Top is kept at it's fullest and most luxurious profile, with a deep soft feel, with tack and jump sticthing. Two inches of impression resistant Quiltflex and 18 ounces of a biodegradable, renewable and recyclable natrual wool blend is quilted into the pillow top. One of the amazing features of wool is it's ability to regulate and insulate, it is also hypo-allerginic, and natrually fire retardent. It provides superior comfort in hot and cold weather. Quiltflex is a revolutionary foam that virtually eliminates the possibility of body impressions while offering approximately 20% greater airflow than fiber. Quiltflex is capable of picking up and dissipating 9 times the moisture of fiber at a rate 4 times faster than fiber.

Air Chambers:

The air chambers are made from genuine European valcanized rubber. They are a full 6 inches deep, double thick for durability , and cloth backed. Uniform support and comfort from head to toe is provided by square pockets of air created by a cross vertical and horizontal baffle system used in the air chambers. During the valcanization process virtually all seams are eliminated as the 24 guage rubber actually flows together to form a one piece construction. To eliminate air leakage through the pores of the rubber, a natrual cotton backing material is adheared chemically to the rubber while creating a soft, smooth texture as well. Chamber borders are double seamed with two 1.25 inch seams, one reinforcing the other. A more reliable support system and trouble free use with years of proven longevity is a creation of double sealing. Inside the air chambers is our incredibly strong I-Beam construction made of two layers of canvas and two layers of rubber bonded together to join the top and bottom of the air chamber. Meeting at the top and bottom of the chamber causes the canvas and rubber layers to flair out each way, thereby inducing twice the holding power of a single sided system for extra strength and years of durable use. Little square pillows of air created by the sophisticated baffling system of chambers help keep the spine aligned, therby allowing maximum comfort and support. Your entire body is evenly supported with our square pillow system even if you sleep on the edge or with a soft or firm inflation level. This design allows sleepers the opportunity to sleep in the middle of the mattress without feeling anything but the ultra comfortable mattress they purchased by eliminating the need for a foam wedge between the dual chambers. Each air chamber is tested to insure years of trouble free use.

Pump and Comtrols:

The SP9000VX includes our top-of-the-line pneumatic pump complete with two 4-funtion ergonomically designed, easy to use controls with LED (Light Emitting Diode) design that make it easy to read your firmness level even in a dark bedroom.  The SP9000 controls offer 50 comfort settings. Oviously the more comfort settings possible, the more likely a sleeper will find the comfort setting that's just right for them. Our comfort setting are very accurate, in fact scientifically so. We use the scientific measurement mm/HG (Millimeters of Murcury) to measure the 50 firmness levels offered. This is the same type of measurement used by scientist to map pressure points on sleep surfaces. This means that the sleeper can not only fine tune the firmness level of their mattress, but they can change fron one firmness level to another and know that they can return to any formally selected firmness level with confidence. If for any reason you need to disconnect the pump from your mattress, our inflation system includes Air-Lock compatible fittings that make it possible to detach the air chambers from the pump without the air chambers deflating.

Connections:

The air hose is permanently sealed to the air chamber to eliminate the possibility of air loss. Special flexible rubber is used at the time of manufacture to create this single unit with no external connections. The hose includes an imbedded layer of surgical steel coil to help create a quieter and more responsive inflation process. Improved pump life and more precise control are also the result of this kink free design. The connectors from chamber hose to the pump is a barrel twist and lock connector. This locks in place to prevent any type of accidental disconnect, and keeps dust,pet hair, ete. at bay. Housed within the twist and lock connector is the seal that prevents back flow of air when the pump is disconnected from the air chamber, which means you can move the mattress without deflating it.

Foam Rails:

Our foam rails use an interlocking sling system to keep the mattress square and true. This design maximizes the sleeping surface to provide the larges sleep surface possible
